Swap Shop

Welcome to the 'Swap Shop', no Noel Edmunds jumpers if you please! This new area is a way for us to advertise a few bits that are going spare and even then, we may decide to recycle them rather than sell them unless it is seriously worth our while. Take the Aga for instance - supposedly dating from the first year of their manufacture 1929 - ideally we would like to refurbish this ourselves, a spot of sand blasting inside and out and away you go, a perfect working solid fuel Aga for your kitchen - however, realistically, I am not sure we quite have the time...

The first item on the swap shop - our 1929 Aga - Buyer collects!

Item 1 - A 1939 Solid fuel burning Aga.

This was in perfect working order up until two years ago, at which point it was extinguished and has lain unused ever since. The inside has started to corrode and the cooker needs a sandblast and an airing at the very least. Feel free to contact us directly - chris@springbankhouse.org with realistic offers. Be warned, you will need to dismantle and transfer the Aga yourselves - and soon! Now we have building bye-law approval, we hope to demolish the kitchen before Christmas - a fine present for the wife...
